
Lauren concentrates her practice in civil litigation, probate and trust administration, and residential real estate. She has experience with estate planning, trials, arbitration and administrative hearings. Lauren understands the stressful nature of being involved in a court proceeding and the emotional toll it can take on her clients. She works diligently to advocate on her client’s behalf to achieve the best result possible.
While in law school, Lauren was selected to be a staff member of the NIU College of Law’s Law Review, where her article was selected for publication. She worked as a research assistant, focusing on corporate governance issues, compliance, and legal ethics. Following her passion of helping those in need, she worked as a law clerk for both Prairie State Legal Services and the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic.
After graduating from law school in 2019, Lauren worked for a small boutique firm in the northwest suburbs before transitioning to a mid-size firm in downtown Chicago. She joined Hardt, Stern & Kayne, PC in 2025.
